Basis for the 1932 pre-Code film, "Cynara," directed by King Vidor, and starring Ronald Coleman, Kay Francis, and Phyllis Barry, about an affair with a younger woman that ruins the career of a lawyer, told in flashback.
Very Good in a Very Good plus dust jacket. Dampstain on the front board. Jacket is lightly soiled, with minor edgewear, and a faint dampstain to the verso.
