First Edition, First Printing with correct number line on the copyright page (1 3 5 7 9 11 13 15 19F/C20 18 16 14 12 10 8 6 4 2). 228 pp. Nice copy with very bright blue boards and binding and bold sharp gold lettering on the spine and imprint of Hemingway"s signature on the front board. Light rubbing all over, mild white staining on top and bottom edges, especially near the spine. Binding is square and tight at the bottom. Pages are clean and bright, as if never read. Unclipped DJ also sharp and bright, with no chips or tears, only shelf rubbing from having been pressed between other books for years, and minor yellowing from age along the inside edges.
