Red Morocco spine with 5 raised bands, bright Gilt title and Gilt tooled decoration, Marbled bds (spine has been professionally rebacked with Red Morocco and original backstrip laid over, very littel wear otherwise apart from light shelf wear) Red marbled eps, title pages are wood block printed in colour, lavishly illus through out and many nice reproduced etching from famous artists with tissue guards. Bright and clean, not inscribed, light age toning to end pages, short tear to tissue guard on frontis. Overweight. Le texte en français. L'épine rouge de Maroc avec 5 bandes haussées, le titre Dorées brillantes et la décoration de tooled Dorée, bds Marbré (l'épine a été professionnellement rebacked avec Maroc Rouge et backstrip original a posé par-dessus, l'usure de littel MEME autrement en dehors de l'usure d'étagère légère) eps marbré Rouge, les pages de titre sont du bloc de bois imprimé dans la couleur, généreusement illus par hors et beaucoup de graver reproduit agréable des artistes célèbres avec les gardes de tissu. Brillant et propre, pas inscrit, allumer toning d'âge pour terminer des pages, la déchirure courte au garde de tissu sur frontis. Obésité.. First Edition. Quarto Leather. Near Fine/Not Issued. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
