Full title: The Personal History, Adventures, Experience & Observation of David Copperfield, the Younger of Blunderstone Rookery (Which He Never Meant to Be Published on Any Account). --- For many, David Copperfield is their favorite work by Charles Dickens. Offered here in a conventionally-sized (non-Giant) complete and unabridged Modern Library edition and with 39 reproductions from the original illustrations (which could have been reproduced a little more clearly) by the famed Dickens illustrator, "Phiz" (Hablot K. Browne). Includes an introduction by E. K. Brown. --- In Toledano spine 8 / green cloth / gilt titling on black spine & cover blocks / black topstain / grey Kent endpapers / jacket style i, verso lists 408 titles in ML catalog. Likely published c.1962 (though 1950 date appears in book). ML #110.3. --- An excellent copy: clean, tightly-bound and unmarked but with small tears near gutter at title page. Unclipped dust jacket with retailer's sticker to flap, a little chafing to edges and mildly sunned spine; wrapped in removable archival mylar protector.; 12mo 7" - 7-1/2" tall; xviii, 923 pages .
