St. Louis, Missouri: Concordia Publishing House, 1949. Pages [124] clean, unmarked, binding tight, decorated endpapers. Brown leatherette boards, red leatherette corners and spine, bright gilt decorations and lettering, mostly clean, a little shelf wear at extremities, one short [1/2"] partial split at bottom spine edge; a little bowing to boards. The magazine is the September 1949, Vol 1, No 1 edition. Articles include "Ranger's Wife" by Isabelle Schrader, "The Making of America" - A Picture Story, "Hunting the Haunt of our National Bird" by W. Schaars. Also featured are "Blow, Wind Blow", the first installment of the adventures of a missionary couple by April Alice Hayes and a condensed version of "A Lantern in Her Hand" a novel by Bess Streeter Aldrich. Many other features are included. Rare and beautifully bound copy of a first edition magazine. Media Mail, Priority & most international shipping include free tracking information.
