Purple book cover, gold print, design front, tight, 2 small pieces of paper tape between 2 pages, no markings, In back it indicates printed at the Edinburgh Press, 68 Old Bailey, London, E.C. Joseph Rudyard Kipling ( /¿r¿dj¿d ¿k¿pl¿¿/ RUD-y¿d KIP-ling; 30 December 1865 ¿ 18 January 1936)[1] was an English poet, short-story writer, and novelist chiefly remembered for his tales and poems of British soldiers in India, and his tales for children. Kipling received the 1907 Nobel Prize for Literature, the youngest person ever to receive this award. 1776 Bookstore, where history lives.
