Paris: Editions du Chene, 1950. First Edition, First Printing. Hardcover. Fair. 120p. Ex-library. An oversize hardcover book in acceptable condition. 1/4 brown cloth with ivory boards. Title handwritten on the spine, which has call numbers and sticker residue at the bottom. Light scratch marks on the boards. The font hinge, once cracked, has been repaired with tape, but is still shaky. Card pocket and other library markings inside, but main text is unmarked. Most of the content consists of full-page black and white plates depicting medieval illuminated manuscripts. Measures approx. 12.5" x 9.75
