Original blue wrappers, quite rubbed, lacks spine, deckled edges. Paris: L'Imprimerie Royale, 1790. First Edition. Internally very good.<br/> <br/> Charles Pierre Claret de Fleurieu (1738-1810) entered the navy at age fourteen. He was an explorer, hydrographer and French politician, notably Minister of Marine under Louis XVI and a member of the Institut de France. Small early signature on title page.<br/> <br/>
