Publisher's maroon cloth. Spine ends worn, some light staining to boards, previous owner's inscription deleted from verso of frontispiece, some fading to images. Very good. Illustrated by 9 [of 10?] vintage albumen prints of the region, mounted to stiff card stock with printed captions in red, and tissue guards. xii, [9]-220 pp. Without the folding map found in some copies. 1 vols. 12mo (images 3-1/2 x 3 inches). With Vintage Photos by Jesse Graves. A beautiful guide to the region, and an excellent example of the photo-illustrated book of the day. Like many such books, the number of plates inserted by the publisher seems to vary: some have 9, some have 10, and no copy currently on the market notes a folding map.

"Illustrated with 10 photographs by Jesse A. Graves of landscape subjects of the 'places of interest.' Graves of Delaware Water Gap is typical of talented professional photographers whose work is known to have been extensive but which has survived in a limited number of book pages." - The Truthful Lens. The Truthful Lens 27; OCLC 6825848 (listing 9 plates only, and no folding map)
