Adventures of the famous author and bookcollector A Edward Newton (1864-1940). With Index. Front pastedown has bookplate of Victor Hilton of Pencombe Hall; d/w is dusted; d/w has small losses to head and tail of spine, and corners of the d/w; d/w has edge tears (longest 55 mm) with associated creasing; else a near fine copy, in a very good minus d/w, of a SCARCE British first edition. D/w now protected in a detachable, non-adhesive, clear sheaf. . British First Edition. Hardback. Near Fine/Very Good Minus.
