New York: R. R. Bowker Company, 1934. First Edition. First printing Very good+ in burnt orange cloth covered boards with gilt text stamping on the spine. A small quarto measuring 9 1/4" by 6" with two small closed tears to the cloth at the head of the spine and one short closed tear to the heel of the spine. Without its issued dust jacket. One of only 500 copies printed. 260 pages including an index, appendices and text. Illustrated with a frontispiece portrait of Cooper and a number of photographs of title pages.
