Fine late 19th Century bindings by Stikeman & Co. of three-quarter red morocco with raised bands, gilt decoration, marbled boards and endpapers, top edges gilt. Bound with the half-titles. Original cloth bound in at the end of each respective volume. From the library of the prominent New York homeopathic doctor, John F. Talmage, with his armorial bookplate on the front pastedown of each volume.There is some discoloration to the last page of each volume caused by the bound-in cloth. Small stain to fore-edge of first volume. Near fine and attractively bound.
