Black cloth covered boards with silver titles on spine. Pages are clean and unmarked. Harcourt Brace and Company hardcover, with dust jacket, first American edition 1939 (stated), first printing. 147 pages. 8vo (8.75"" x 5.75"") Dorothy Sayers' take on the Faust legend. A play first presented at the Festival at Canterbury Cathedral in June 1939.
