Small square quarto (6-1/4" x 7-1/4") in original publisher's binding of full red morocco leather with heavy gilt decorations; 239 pages. Illustrated with 55 hand-colored maps and charts, mostly full page and including double-page maps of the world and of the United States, all printed on one side only and mostly of the United States.
