The binding has been reenforced with binder's cloth on the outside, thus preserving the original binding. Boards, edges and extremities are rubbed. Fore and bottom edges untrimmed. All text in French "with a very - faithful explanation of all the ways of speaking burlesque , comedy , free, satirical , critical & proverbial , which can be found in the best authors , both ancient and modern."
