About This Item
New Haven, CT.: Yale University Press, 1978. First Edition. Wrappers. Very good. 75 pp., small 8vo. Foreword by Richard Hugo; this book was his first selection for the Yale Series of Younger Poets. Signed and dated in the year of publication, and with an autograph letter (c. 87 words) to author Jack Gantos, asking Gantos to sign a copy of his book Rotten Ralph, and discussing Ramke's own book signing event (his first) at the Grolier Book Shop some months before (evidently where Gantos had gotten this copy of Ramke's book). Wrappers lightly rubbed, and with a mild crease to the lower corner of the back cover, otherwise very good.
