This collection contains four novellas, all published here for the first time: "Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption" (adapted in 1994 to THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION); "Apt Pupil" (also adapted into a 1998 film of the same name); "The Body" (adapted into the 1986 film STAND BY ME); and "The Breathing Method." This copy is inscribed by the author on July 25th with the comment, "Hope you like these odd stories." A fine copy, with a most desirable inscription. 9.25'' x 6''.
