Soft cover. 16mo, (in 8's), 16.6cm, in 2 volumes, 470 & [8],479pp., with 26 folding plates (complete), in full contemporary calf, real raised bands, full gilt spine panel decorations, both title labels wanting, volume labels present, spines chipped at the top and bottom edges, worn at the edges, both volumes have some slight damp staining along the top text edge, five of the plates are a bit tatty on the leading edge with text loss due to being over folded, a very good attractive antique set ~ This edition is uncommon. Volume I also includes "Abrege' de la Musique." Volume II is sub titled "Plus la Dioptrique, les Meteores, la Mechanique, & la Musique; qui sont des essais de cette Methode. Nouvelle Edition, revue, corrigee & augmentee des Remarques du P. Poisson, P.D.L."
