INSCRIBED BY TERKEL TO DIRECTOR PETER BOGDANOVICH inside torn-off front cover from a paperback edition of this title, "To Petar Bogdanovich who understands the losers so well. Studs Terkel." The taped-in inscription covers a "From the Library of Peter Bogdanovich" stamp and BOGDANOVICH'S OWNERSHIP SIGNATURE, as well as a publisher's "hurt" stamp ("H"). Spine beginning to sink a bit at top otherwise very good to near fine in near fine dust jacket with rub to upper spine fold but otherwise only a touch of light wear.
