New York: Bantam Books #s F3839 1st Edition 1968, F3877 1st Edition 1968 & S7144 1st Edition 1972 ----------3 paperbacks, #s 28 & 29 are Canadian printings. Starting in 1964, Bantam Books issued numbered volumes, reprinting the adventures of Doc Savage, which were originally published in the pulp magazine Doc Savage (1933-1949). Most of the Bantam volumes are first edition paperback originals, although some of the volumes had subsequent printings, especially the earlier ones. Using the Kenneth Robeson house pseudonym, Lester Dent (the most frequent and prolific Doc Savage author) wrote the vast majority of these volumes, a number of other writers shared writing of some volumes with Dent, or wrote a couple of novels on their own. Dent wrote all 3 volumes offered here. Their original pulp magazine appearances were October 1937, January 1940 & August 1935 respectively. Condition: # 28 VG, # 29 VG, # 70 VG.. First Edition.
