About This Item
Paris: Libraire A. Courcier, 1857. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. 40 pp. 31 cm. Tall 4to. Hardcover. Illustrated pasteboard covers. Book Condition: Covers show heavy wear around edges, spine perished, bookworm trails to a few pages including one plate, foxing to pages and to obverse side of plates but never to plates, which are in brilliant full color (despite the description of them as "superbes gravures à deux teintes") and are the real attraction here. These full color plates are gorgeous. Bibliographie de la France: 1857 #10566 M Le Docteur Dimanche par Mm Th Midy Illustré de 8 superbes gravures à deux teintes par Bertrand.
