Vol. 1: xv, 17-370 p.p.; Vol. 2: 388 p.p., incl. index. Second volume dated 1911.Tight boards. Some rubbing and bumped edges, with stain on front and rear board. Pages yellowing. Otherwise in near fine condition. A scarce copy of multilingual proverbs and sayings in literature on adversity, love, goodness, and beauty.
