Hardcover. xvi, 355p., illustrated with three line maps, all doublespreads, one with route indicated in color, hardbound in beautifully-preserved red cloth gilt with elaborate gilt rulings &c., and enclosed in the dust jacket. Book itself is crisp and square, with no soil or markings of any kind, while the dj has taken the brunt of age and handling: dj is very dusty and torn, with verso tape repairs, its flaps and back panel present but only listing publisher's other offerings. A very good copy, all told. The Broadway Travellers, edited by E. Denison Ross and Eileen Power. Intro information tells us the item was first published in the Spanish language in 1604 and never reprinted nor up til now never translated into any language.
