First edition, ex-library with usual stamps and markings; cover age- toned/rubbed/soiled/bumped, cloth has completely split along rear joint leaving spine cloth only attached by front joint, corners/spine ends very bumped/rubbed, spine lightly sunned with some decorative white paint in a star and underlining the author's name; edges age-toned/soiled with red and black library stampings; inside pastedown and ffep lightly age-toned/soiled with rubbed spots where library pockets have been removed, half-title has what appears to be the author photo and book summary from a dust jacket tipped in, front matter has library stamping/light pencil markings/some very faint occasional foxing, rfep and rear pastedown soiled with red markings, text block faintly age-toned with some soiling and library stamping sprinkled throughout; binding cocked but intact; cover, edges, and interior intact and clean except as noted..
