Green and silver lettering and design on the front and on the spine. Illustrated inlaid on the front cover. Illustrated inside covers front and back. Illustrated throughout by the author. No Dust Jacket. No tears, bent pages, nor any writing [a stamp on the back inside reverse of the flyleaf], Hudson's bookshop small label on the back inside cover lower left corner. Shelf wear to the edges and to the head and toe are minor with very light bumps to the head and toe the spine, very short small crack to the inside front gutter. Text and illustrations remains bright and clean, binding is secure, a scarce second book the Dr. Doolittle series.
