Atheneum Books for Young Readers, 1976. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. Very nice copy of this first book in the Harper Hall trilogy. Stated first edition in brown cloth in first state jacket with $7.95 price present. Near fine book with light wear to boards, pushing to spine, and a small dark stain to bottom of page edge block. Some light foxing present to a couple pages near the beginning. Jacket is clean and bright, though there is some of the usual tanning. One small abrasion to front cover, else fine.
Synopsis
Dragonsong is a novel written by Anne McCaffrey in 1976. It is the first in the Harper Hall Trilogy. The other two novels are Dragonsinger and Dragondrums. Dragonsong was one of the books cited when McCaffrey's "lifetime contribution in writing for teens" made her the 1999 recipient of the Margaret A. Edwards Award.
