Edinburgh: William Paterson, 1878 402pp. Three Quarter Leather with five raised spine bands, gilt text on spine, and marbled boards and endpapers. Tips, spine ends, spine bands and board edges are heavily rubbed. Spine ends are chipping. Tips and spine ends are bumped. Spine is slightly cocked, and a bit shaken. Gilt top edge is dust stained and has many scratches. Former owner bookplate inside front board. Verso of front endpaper has a former owner name in ink. Pages have light foxing along the edges. Hinges are open. Text is unmarked. . English Translation. Three-Quarter Leather. Poor/No Dust Jacket.
