SIGNED by Barack Obama on the title page. This book comes from the library of a long-standing Florida Democratic Party and Barack Obama campaigner. Prior to the Democrat National Organization creating an infrastructure for Barrack Obama in Florida, the ObamaTrain was created. She was involved with early marches and fundraisers and, after the National Party took over the campaign, subsequent activities in Florida. When Obama signed the book for her he said that she "is one lucky person, there are only 6 or 7 of those." The pagination of this uncorrected proof differs considerably from the published trade edition (385 vs. 403 pages) and the differences in content would bare careful scrutiny. Being signed, with impeccable provenance, this copy of Dreams from My Father would be a true high spot in a serious Barack Obama collection.
