The "First Lady of American Educational Theatre," Walkup (1887-1976) taught costume and the history of theatre at the University of Arizona, and founded the Children's Theatre at the Pasadena Playhouse. Quarto. Original blue cloth binding, with dark blue stamping. Internally crisp and clean. Light wear to the corners and tips. The dust jacket is a trifle sun faded along the spine, with just a hint of edgewear. Better than very good.
