Contains music for trumpet calls, drill signals, and quicksteps. Includes index. All page edges speckled red. "War Department, Washington, February 4, 1896. A board of officers, consisting of Maj. Henry C. Hasbrouck, Fourth Artillery, and Capt. James M. Lancaster, Third Artillery, having revised the Drill Regulations for Light Artillery, and Maj. Gen. Thomas H. Ruger, United States Army,having further revised them, under special instructions of the War Department, they are approved by the President, and are published for the information and government of the Army and for the observance of the militia of the United States. To insure uniformity throughout the Army, all light artillery exercises and maneuvers not embraced in this system are prohibited, and those herein prescribed will be strictly observed. Daniel S.
