About This Item
Philadelphia: David McKay Company, 1934. First edition. Hardcover. Very good. Illustrations by Montfort Amory.. Square 8vo. 124pp. Red cloth printed in black on the spine and with a full color paste-on on the upper board. Totally unsophisticated with light wear to the cloth, especially corners and spine tips; a small stain on the introduction page; and some closed lower marginal tears to 5 leaves, touching images but with no loss. Still a very good copy.
Black and white comic illustrations throughout by Montfort Amory from the transitional time from the platinum age to the golden age of comics.
Rare.
