With four hundred and twenty-five illustrations, including plates, by Gustave Dore, the work is presented in very attractive and ornate cloth binding. Condition: In decorative cloth binding with gilt detailing. Externally sound, there is wear to the extremities and backstrip, with some fading and markings to the boards and backstrip, with tenderness to hinges. Internally, the pgaes are generally firmly bound, though there is strain to certain areas, and are lightly spotted throughout. Overall: VERY GOOD..
