Fabric spine has been glued tot he backstrip causing a certain rigidity in the binding; new endpapers. 256 pp. Does not include an original blanks, half-title, errata, etc. Title page and last page both glued to endpaper along gutter. Tearing to pages 135/6. Contents lightly browned, but readable. An acceptable copy of a scarce book, written a few years before JQA would be elected president.
