New York: American Aniline Products, [1930]. Hardcover. Good. nd. 25 p. 28 cm. Dozens of coloured cloth swatches. One photo of the plant at Lock Haven, PA. Burgundy cloth with faded gold lettering. Bottom corners worn. Ink signature on title page. Some pencil check marks inside. A few cloth samples have tiny tears or holes but all are clean and bright. Topics inside include: dissolving the dyestuffs; dyeing methods; tabulation of fastness of amacid colours; level dyeing, etc. The cloth samples, however, are the main feature of this book, from "milling yellow" to "amacid black".

Undated sample book published to display the dye colors from the company. Probable pub date in mid-30s to mid-40s. Near fine condition, with bright intact color samples organized by color, from Chinoline Yellow Extra to Amacid Navy Blue. Shadow offsetting to opposite pages and some discrete pencil notations in margins. "Property of Technicolor Library" stamped on front pastedown page. Frontis black-and-white depiction of company works in Lock Haven, PA. Early pages are devoted to charts showing characteristics of the various dyes. 4to. Unpaginated. A handsome color sample book.
