Five black and white photographs.Presentation copy from the author, inscribed in pencil on the front free endpaper: ''Eardley from Vita - Nov. 1943. Sissinghurst''. The recipient is Eardley Knollys, an artist with strong links to the Bloomsbury Group and also a critic, dealer and collector of art. He was a close friend of Vita Sackville-West's cousin Edward and went on to inherit the latter's impressive art collection.Faint spotting to endpapers. Near fine in very good, slightly spotted dustwrapper rubbed and nicked along top edge.
