Book is tight, square, and unmarked but for former owner book plate on FFFP. Book Condition: VG+; creases in upper and lower wrap corners and in rear lower; crease in spine from opening. Pictorial heavy card stock wraps. Wraps are not bent or folded; spine is creased but not split. 146 pp 4to. Stencilling was an important decorative art in New England in the early 19th Century. The stencil designs in this book are from scores of room and dozens of pieces of furniture. This is the most authoritative source for craftsmen, interior decorators, wallpaper and fabric designers, and students of this now-vanished art. A clean and very presentable copy.
