Hardcover. 12mo - 19.5 x 13.5 cm.; xiv - 472 pp. Black cloth over thin and flexible boards with gilt lettering (faded) on the spine and the front board. "With an introduction, translation, commentary and notes". Illustrated with many (30-40) small, black and white inset reproductions. The original Latin texts are present also. Two appendices, a 5 page bibliograph y and 30 pages of notes. The library markings are a faint label ghost on the lower spine, stamps on the title page and attachments on the back end papers. Previous owner's name on the front free end paper. The externals show mild wear, otherwise 'tis clean with a tight binding. A clear and removable archival cover has been fitted. .
