16 unnumbered pages, monochrome illustrations, front panel of dj present (only). No date, c. 1889. "Designed at the Studios in England and printed at the Fine Art Works in Germany." Small 4to., approx. 7 1/2" x 6 3/4" (17.5 x 19 cm.) Illustrated boards. Back cover has old water staining. Cover art reprinted on title-page and dust jacket. Rare early dust jacket, more like half a jacket, closed tears and creases but an acceptable example. Reference: Not in G. Thomas Tanselle's Book-Jacket, which only lists 2 Raphael Tuck imprints, one by Helen Marion Burnside, Christmas Lights "1880s or 1890s," no. X.7, and, Thomas Hood, The Song of the Shirt, 1890, no. 90.42. The American Stationer, Oct. 10, 1889, "Tuck's Books and Booklets, p. 947, a review of the publisher's "line of books and booklets," which includes both H. M. Burnside titles, The Lord's Prayer and Christmas Lights.
