In the publisher's original red cloth.This novel follows the story of Christopher Columbus and his third voyage to America, told by the point of view of Don Narciso Rich, a 15th century liberal in a New World. That voyage was said to be the most disastrous for Columbus, who was sent back to Spain still in chains after being captured. This is a tale not only of history, but also of greed, ambition, thirst and jealousy.With price-clipped dustwrapper. In the publisher's original red cloth, with titles stamped in gilt to spine.
