New York: East Village Other, Inc, 1968. Newspaper. 20p., folded tabloid, evenly toned, illus., mailing label overlaps cover logo, a few small closed tears, pages folded askew, else very good. Cover is arty photo of young woman getting groped on date in movie theater. Issue most notable for full-page comix by Kim Deitch ("Blue Bird Comics"), Spain ("Trashman"), and most notably a centerspread reprinting pages 9-16 of Vaughn Bode's "Junkwaffel Papers." Other material includes review of book on secret societies, usual film, music, art columns, and ads of the era.
