Burlington: Vermont Eclipse, 1977. First Edition. Paperback. Burlington, Vermont, newspaper, covering local and national news. Includes a short article on :Bernard Sanders" and his withdrawal from the "radical alternative" Liberty Union Party, on whose ticket he ran for Governor of the state the previous year. Behind his reasoning Sanders stated that "the organization's promise to remain active after elections has not been kept and that it has become 'virtually dormant'" going on to say that "A serious political party cannot maintain the respect of people if it simply pops up every two years for elections" (p. 5). OCLC locates two holdings of this periodical as of October, 2019, neither outside Vermont. Tabloid format (44cm.); pictorial self-wrappers, disbound as issued; 20pp.; illus. throughout. Previous mail fold, stock toned and a bit brittle due to poor paper quality, else Very Good and sound.
