Portuguese text. a pristine copy of the story of the first 50 years of the Oil industry in Brazil. This item was sent only to oil company executives and investors and is seldom seen in North America. OCLC locates one copy at the Library of Congress and another in the Brazilian national library.

Each of these is an offprint pamphlet in stapled wraps of an earlier publication, speech, or lecture by the authors. Condition varies from Very Good to Near Fine depending upon degree of age toning present. All ten are housed in a Fine, green vinyl "Objectivist" binder. The titles by Rand are: Textbook of Americanism; Notes on the History of American Free Enterprise; Faith and Force: The Destroyers of the Modern World; Conservatism: An Obituary; Americas' Persecuted Minority: Big Business; The Objectivist Ethics; The Intellectual Bankruptcy of Our Age; and The Fascist New Frontier. Title by Greenspan is Antitrust and that by Reisman is The Revolt Against Affluence: Galbraith's Neo-Feudalism. The two pamphlets that were published by the Institute have had reference to it lined out and have been stamped to indicate publication by The Objectivist.

New York, Horace Liveright, 1930, hardcover, 264 pp, First Edition, First Printing, Very Good condition in publishers brown cloth with maroon decoration, gold lettering, embossing to spine, decorated endpapers, and red topstain. Straight, tight and clean with no markings, light spine-end and corner wear, some of first 100 pages showing evidence of dampstain to bottom edge, faint spots to boards. The Canadian-American journalist, novelist, political philosopher, and one of the three founding mothers of American libertarianism, along with Rose Wilder Lane and Ayn Rand, continues the theme of two other novels she wrote in the 1920s, The Singing Season (1924), and The Fourth Queen (1926), each shows how cultures are shaped by an underlying set of moral and political principles.

Main portion of the dw in Near Fine condition, some rubbing along the foredge. Dust Jacket is very worn and faded on the spine with small tears and small pieces missing. Corners are rubbed/worn. Book in VG with Near Fine condition. Top and bottom edges of the spine are bent under, corners bumped/rubbed. This is the revised January 1963 HC edition. Ships with delivery confirmation.

Disbound slim pamphlet in very good condition, some fraying around spine, some turning to a few page corners at bottom, but a clean, firm copy with sound binding. The TP lists Frederick Hill as the author, not Frederic as he was baptised. Hill was one of the most notable Victorian prison reformers and politically involved throughout his career, including working towards the Reform Bill of 1832. The pamphlet would have been written just prior to Hill joining the Birmingham Political Union, which campaigned for the extension of the vote.
