Softcover, original publication in original wraps. This is the January, 1854 issue in the front cover states "to be continued quarterly" along with a price of six shillings. Front cover is detached but present, and both covers have chipping along the edges and corners. Front cover has the faint penciled signature which appears to read P. N Riggs. Internal binding is mostly tight though fragile and there is a section in the front that is held on only by a single thread of binder string and nearly all of the page quadrants still uncut along the top and fore edges - showing this book was never even read.
