First softcover edition (stated), this book was first published in 1967, the twilight of Mantle's career, and issued here in paperback in February 1969 upon his retirement. 182 pps. with index, illustrated with photos. Front cover is a color photo of The Mick watching a homer while leaving the left-hand batter's box. A fine, bright, tight copy with only a light spine crease as usual. (If it were a baseball card, we'd grade it ex-mt.)
