Inscribed and signed by author: "For Margaret Adams Clement from Esther Willard Bates 1913-1945" on front free endpaper. The author worked with Robinson from 1913-1945 as his typist. Part of his work was done at the artists' retreat, MacDowell Colony, Peterborough, New Hampshire. 32 untrimmed pp. plus ad for Colby College monographs.. Inscribed and Signed By Author. First ( No Additional printings). Hard Cover. Fine/Very Good. Illus. by Uncredited DJ Portrait. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
