Doctorow's novels, with the complete and unabridged texts of the original editions. Hardcover Book in Near Fine Condition with a Very Good Dust Jacket. Binding of black half cloth with silver titles, purple paper-wrapped boards; pale whitish area about an inch long along the top edge, otherwise very clean, tight, solid, square with sharp edges. Rem Mk on top edge of page block. Page block edges quite clean and white (except rem mk). Internals also quite clean, free from any markings. Purple jacket with early 20th century American town illustration on front is clean and with slight wear to extremities. In these three novels, E. L. Doctorow conjures up the lost world of America before World War II, the innocence and the violence. the dreams of the poor, and the swaggering pride of the rich. 658 pages. 6.5 x 9.5 inches.
