London and Paris: Pissot's, Barrois junior's 1779, New Edition, revised and corrected. (Leather binding) 435pp. Very good. Bound in full light brown calf with the spine having raised bands and a leather label. Separate title page in French and printed in three columns with parallel English, phonetic and French text. The covers are worn around the edges and corners, and the tips of the top and bottom of the spine are worn away. There is what appears to be a contemporary bookseller's label pasted to the inner front board, also a previous owner's name on the front endpaper. Parallel text in French and English. (Reference, Grammar--English, Linguistics).
