This is the original 1936 book - not a modern reprint or facsimile. Boards (covers) are clean, show mild wear (light rubbing and bumping at corners and top and bottom of spine). Nicely illustrated by Miriam Story Hurford with color artwork throughout. 1 small, closed tear at bottom of page 9 (blank area). No writing inside book. "Petoskey Public School" stamp (small) in three locations. This is not a former library book. Tight spine, clean pages. Pages show light tanning - no foxing. .
