Brown leather board, blind stamped design and gilt lettering on front cover; XVII, 694 pp; 3 plates in gold and color, 40 plates in black and 378 figures in the text. Text is in Italian. Printed in edition of 500 numbered copies, this being number 137. "Tesori delle Biblioteche d'Italia" is printed on front cover and top of title page.
