Clean blue ribbed cloth boards with clean, unchipped paste-on illustration on cover, stamped white lettering on cover and spine (no chipping to lettering). Signed decorated binding (KM - unidentified). Very little wear. Binding is tight & square, no cracking. Pages are clean and bright. Printed Emmy Lou bookplate area on inside of cover has no names, writing or marks--no names or marks on endpapers or pages. Beautiful illustrations throughout by Charles Lewis Hinton. 279 pgs. A very nice example of this book.
